In order to guarantee a smooth process of your office relocation, we advise you -if these tasks are not carried out by our moving company- to pay attention to the following points:
- Sort and label all files according to the respective department. This will make it easier to allocate them later.
- Do not pack too many files, books or other heavy items in one box, in order to ensure the integrity of the boxes.
- When disassembling office furniture, be sure to label all individual parts to make it easier to reassemble later.
- Gather all screws, wrenches and other small parts in lockable containers and label them to help determining where they belong afterward.
- When disassembling the furniture, start with the pieces that are near by the door or in the center of the room.
- When assembling start with the furniture on the farthest wall.
- Fragile parts (such as glass) should be wrapped in padding sheets and blankets.
- Large pieces should always be carried by two persons and lifted from a squatting position in ordert o avoid damage and injuries.
